Twizel Town is located in three islands in the middle of the Tasman Sea first settled in the 1960's. Visited frequently by ferry services from Australia and Papa New Guinea, the town's population has been rapidly growing in recent years, creating a big community. Twizel Town has many buildings around the island from modern shopping centers to historical buildings built in Twizel Town's earlier era.
